This policy explains how YoHub collects, uses and protects personal information when you use yohub.io or work with us as a partner on the YoHub roaming platform. We’re committed to protecting your privacy: any information that identifies you is used only as this policy describes.

Who we are

yohub.io and the YoHub platform are operated by Yellow Haze Sustainable Technologies Private Limited (CIN U74999RJ2018PTC061022), Udaipur, Rajasthan, India (“YoHub”, “we”, “us”). For any privacy question or request, email sales@yocharge.com.

What we collect

  • When you book a demo. “Book a demo” takes you to Calendly, a third-party scheduling service. The name, email address, company and any answers you enter there are collected by Calendly and shared with us so we can hold the meeting. Calendly’s own privacy policy also applies.
  • When you email us. Your name, email address, company and the contents of your message.
  • When you visit the website. Standard technical information that any web server records, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. There are no forms on this website.
  • When you are a platform partner. Business contact details of the people we work with, and the data the OCPI 2.2.1 protocol requires to run roaming (see “Our roaming platform” below).

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and hold the meetings you book
  • To onboard, operate, support and invoice platform partners
  • To keep records required by our agreements and by tax law
  • To keep the website and platform secure, and to improve them
  • To tell you about relevant YoHub services. You can ask us to stop at any time.

Our roaming platform

When a partner connects to YoHub, the platform processes the data OCPI 2.2.1 requires to run roaming between charge point operators and eMSPs: charging locations, tariffs, authorisation tokens, and session and charge records. We use this data only to provide roaming, reconciliation and, in India, settlement, under the agreement with each partner.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file a website places on your device. This website doesn’t use advertising cookies. WordPress may set technical cookies needed for the site to work, for example if you log in. If we add analytics cookies to measure how the site is used, we’ll update this page first. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may then not work as intended.

Sharing

We don’t sell, rent or lease your personal information. We share it only:

  • with service providers that help us run the website and platform (such as hosting, email and scheduling), under confidentiality terms;
  • between roaming partners, to the extent the OCPI protocol and the partner agreements require;
  • within the Yellow Haze group, to provide the services you ask for; and
  • where the law requires it.

Security

We use suitable physical, electronic and managerial safeguards to protect the information we hold against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to respond and follow up, and platform and billing records for as long as our partner agreements and tax law require. Then we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

India. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You can ask to see, correct or erase the personal data we hold about you, withdraw consent you have given, and raise a grievance with us.

United Arab Emirates. For partners and users in the UAE, we process personal data in line with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, including your rights to access, correct and erase it.

To use any of these rights, email sales@yocharge.com. We’ll reply promptly, and there is no fee.

This website links to other sites, such as Calendly and our sister companies’ websites. Once you leave yohub.io we don’t control those sites, and this policy doesn’t apply to them. Please read their own privacy policies.

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version on this page with a new “last updated” date.
